It should come out at a rate of approximately 3 to 4 parts "waste" water to 1 part "good" water
no, the reason to use a ro/di is to get clean water. however, i wouldn't go crazy if the ppm is 1 or 2. but any higher, is not good n something is wrong.
basically, the tap water goes thru sediment filter then carbon filter then the membrane. the does most of the work n should filter out 90-95% of the ppms.
then it goes to the DI which should filters the rest.
base on your tap readings (ppm) and the info from your ro/di membrane on ebay (removes 98% to 99.99%) u should not be getting 11 ppm unless your tap is 1000ppm n thats before the DI.
cause water wouldnt stop coming out.
i understand that the water has to force itself to the membrane.
in my manual book, people do the same way i did. you think this is the problem?
i dont take it out when im making water, i only took it out when the tds meter reads high
