Most of the bugs have been resolved with the latest firmware update.

I've been on the fence on this one vs AquaController III.

I do love the expandability, and that's the selling point - I'm turned off with all the bugs, even though it seems many of them are fixed. Though I'm the type of tinker around with things, tinkering with a controller is a no no for me... Since I will be relying this thing to control *almost* everything - it can't fail. It needs to be set it and forget it. That's the point of a controller no? You'll never know what will go wrong next.

Also, apparently it needs an additional module to connect to the internet (another $150) - and that won't arrive till Dec (at the earliest, and whether it's bug free remains to be seen).

I've never first hand used either (which is a flaw), but I've been reading reviews all over RC.

There's still issues on electronic ballast compatibility.

Believe it or not, I've been through 4 head units!
#1 touchpad buttons didn't work out of the box
#2 served me well, until the bus socket disconnected from the ciruit board
#3 time was off 10 minutes to 4 hours daily
#4 just popped in yesterday, crossing fingers

Ed, are you running 1.0.7? It fixed the button sensitivity as well as the time sync issues.
