my fiancee and I bought our first house.

I'm excited we bought it, relieved that its over, and scared sh*tless about paying all that money!!!

Thanks guys! Its on the Deer Park Dix Hills boarder... so DP taxes (lower) and DH schools (better). So I'm happy. And the house is pretty much in turnkey condition. Be that as it may, I'm still gonna do a few things to it before we move in

I think it has something to do with spending the money, although they have no problem spending hundreds of dollars on shoes and pocketbooks that they only use a few times... go fig.

Mike congrats on the new place. I hope pics will follow soon. Hey since you just got the house see if you qualify for the new home buyer tax credit. I just saw somethign about on tv the other day. Don't be scared on the payments. Its not all that bad, its an investment. Good luck !!
