It's not going to be a huge event, not like our traditional swaps at all. But it is a good way to see the aquarium, have a great lunch (last year the food was really good), swap some frags and even get a backstage tour of their reef tank. It makes for a fun day overall.
Yes, tickets are available at the door only.
Going to this event just to see the aquarium is well worth it. They have a really nice setup out there. All the tanks are well kept and everything is very informative and educational. The reeftank is the highlight and seeing the behind the scenes is great. It's amazing how simple of a setup it is. The river and boardwalk is really nice too.
Does anyone know of a good B&B or place to stay in town? I'd like to make a weekend trip out of it with my gf. Something in town that doesn't require a car as we would take the train.

I don't know about anything in town, but there is a wonderful B&B about 10 miles away in the middle of the wine country. It is called the Red Barn B&B (Jamesport). The owner has an observatory out back and will give you some hot chocolate and show you all sorts of things with the telescope. It is right across from Martha Clara vineyard. You can tell them I sent you.
