I've never heard of TMPCC being effective against red bugs either, but even it is, why would someone with an in-tank infestation opt for removing all the corals possibly affected from the system ( the only way to ensure in-tank eradication is to treat all the acros) in order to dip them in a fairly harsh (imo) quasi -proven cure when a very widely tested, and virtually harmless in-tank treatment exists? To save a few hermit crabs?

Removing Acros--especially established colonies-- from a display tank that they are already settled into when it is unnecessary to do so is always a bad idea IMO.

a prophylactic treatment for new corals that are going into QT is a different story, but I'd still use the proven and harmless treatment.

Dynamic Tank--fish are completely unaffected by Interceptor.

Luckily the pills come in different dosages. I use half a 23mg pill for a full tank treatment and half a 3mg pill for a quick 1 hour dip in a small container. It seems that no matter what you do, you are going to get them in your system over time, so get your dosing procedure down and don't be upset if you need to do it once a year.

Should put up a sticky regarding the correct dosage requirements, as some may get confused on how to administer it. Theres tons of info out there but better to have it here where users can just go to the thread.
