Lots of good points being brought up here. I try to do what I can and pay it forward.

Rookie07, I know what you mean about having stuff up for sale at a reasonable price and get no PM's.. yet when you put it up for FREE, 500 people are willing to drive from Texas in a snowstorm to get it.

There's really only two things that that irk me though.. One is when someone lowballs you like crazy (say..$100 for a brand new MP40w as an example), and then when they list stuff for sale, it's always at or near retail. "I've got this 3 year old, used 55 gallon tank only for $200" LOL.

The second thing is when you give someone a free coral or throw in something else for free, and they don't say thank you.. Or worse, they act like it's owed to them or something.

Meah.. enough of my rambling :lol2:

I wonder what would happen if i went to the LFS's and say something like ''you are selling your corals, fish and such for way too much money''. Theywould probably tell me to go fm$. And keep in mind they didn't grow the corals from 2'' frags.

then grow it out for a month or two and sell the same size frag for 20 buck your coral was free come on people keep it real i buy stuff and sell it for what i got it for so my corals are free
if you buy one eye for 300 buck you desevred to be robbed jmo

Supply and demand, chemchef i understand your complaint, but as long as someone buys it at that price someone will sell it at that price. I for one can not justify paying those prices, my pockets aren't that deep.

jeremy is correct, when no one buys it we can get it at a cheaper price.

Maybe we sholud start a "fair price circle" A club that you have to be a member of to buy from, But if you are caught reselling @ high $$$$ You are out!!!!
