so i built my own stand for my 75g tank. when i put the tank on it was uneven and wobbled. so i shimmed directly under the tank. filled all the gaps pretty good. and no wobble. its been good like this for 2 years going strong should i be worried??????????? and if i fix it now is the tank compromised??????????

I see a few options, its up to you.

As a hobbyist there is no way of knowing if the tanks stability has been compromised over the past two years because of the stand.

Option 1 - Check the tank with a level and shim it accordingly.

If your worried and it seems you are i would just buy a new 75 gallon tank and stand.

Think about the damage it could do and make your decision accordingly.

its 75e all glass aquarium if that makes a dif? whats the proper way plywood under the tank and shimm up the plywood? and should i toss the tank??? and just buy a new tank

In my opion if your stand didnt make no noise meanin movement or squeezin noise then it should b good. But pictures of ur stand would come in handly to c whats really going on under there.

If you tank leans to one side a bit it's not going to be a problem. A problem would be if there was a twist to how it sits-- meaning opposite sides weren't sitting perfectly parallel to each other. This would cause pressure on a seam and could cause it to break over time.
