OK, after reading the blogs, it seems like the Vertex is the better option. I TOTALLY agree that, asethically, the Vertex is MUCH better looking than the AI. I don't like the look of the lighting fixtures hanging on a square bracket. And, on the Vertex youtube clip, the simulating lighting looks damn cool.

My questions is this: I have a 175 Oceanic bow front. Do I buy the 72 inch strip (which is crazy buck), or should I but three smaller units (or two). My tank has two bracing dividers, and three glass tops.

Next question: who can give the best deal on this VERY expensive unit?

I far as i know vertex doesnt sale here in US only in CAnada. Talk to jeff at J@L aquatics he is the one who can give you best answears regarding pricing and lighting spead options.
but, I agree illumina is the best LED fixure out there:) expensive though!!!!!

i just put 2 modules on my 90 and i love these lights the controlability is incredible and the output is also i am at 30 % white 40% blueand 45% royal blue and the corals seem to be doing great i dont want to go to high to fast but i did try them alot higher for a few minutes and the power is amazing just my opinion dont want to start a led war

So you bought 2 12" units, and suspended them separately or did you buy 1 24" unit separated them and then suspended? can you share pictures? i am thinking about the same exact setup as a 48" fixture is too much money.
