My fish keep eating my fern algea and my grape algea. How do I keep them from eating my algae? And where can I get a lot of fern and grape algea to replace what they have eaten? I want a cheap place to get a ton of it.

No chance of moving your algae into a sump fuge or a confined compartment in your tank? If the fish get a taste of the stuff and they like it I doubt you'll be able to train them not to pick at it.

I don't have lights in my sump, so my macroalgae would probably die in there. As for the type of fish, I have a tang that snacks on it like candy.

Just get some cheap lights from Home Depot and put the stuff in your sump. They grow really fast
