Actually I don't know Peter Scott. I guess we're all getting educated everyday we live. Sometimes we learn about the good and sometimes we learn about the not so good. Sometimes I see the glass half empty.

Mark told me himself. It was also confirmed by JB. Of course there is always two sides to every story. What I know of Mark personally he is a very fine individual. We served together on the AMDA BOD and have met numerous times in person, and spoke on the phone several times as well. We didn't always see eye to eye on everything, but I never questioned his motives nor he mine. He brought a ray of hope that has now been extinguished. Overall it is a very sad day for the industry.

i was refering to the used car salesman slick willy type first name of mark, who couldn't have looked more foolish telling an aquarium club what a great and noble organization MAC is, and how they would be the 'green savior' for the hobby...all of this in the face of someone else who was telling the folks the real deal about what a dangerous crock MAC is

i hope to god he's eating a main dish of crow, with a side of humble pie :roll:

Hmmm....
It seems that association w/ MAC hurts peoples rep more then anything.
It means you have to be submissive to inferior management and administration and then keep quiet about way too many things that you witness that are clearly not right.
It means that fealty and loyalty count and independant thinking and competence does not.
Being a step and fetch it yes man must have its limits...and it does seem that everyone reaches theirs in MAC eventually.
No one stays in that kind of a group for long that has any dignity and purpose.
Mitra and Santos....lasted mere months in the Philippine office.
My old friend Lino [ to his discredit] lasted the longest.

Being outside their inner circle however is a first step to rebuilding self esteem and confidence again! So for them, I say welcome back.

This isn't a personal attack, but just a bit of a glance from the outside that hopefully will do some good..

Look into some personal PR counseling or something.. - Things like the revenge routine and the snide remarks do nothing to positive your image and will probably only serve to discredit anything really truthful or wise you might wish to present. -- A good slick willy image can only serve to help you...



Everyone else:

MAC is still recruiting zombies in the form of hobbyists. - Its not over yet by any stretch, no matter of the fact that results STILL aren't coming out of anything.

i call a spade a spade, and don't really care what anyone else thinks-there's no revenge issue anywhere

but i'm beginning to see what turns so many off of posting in the ind forum .....half of what people say here is nothing but conjecture and misinformation based on highly limited knowledge of self entitled 'experts', half is total misinterpration of/inability to read a post properly, and half is a broken record

PS. This thread is still crazy after all these years. Look at some of the observations 3 years ago. They could've been written today.
