I know of 4 and keep hearing of others about to come on line. Theres 4 different base/plug styles I'm currently seeing coming outa Bali, and we don't do much SPS importing (actually 90% of the SPS is farmed that we've brought in in the last 2 years). Kalk claims to see TONS of Bali aquaculture every week, maybe he knows a few I don't :)

cement disc - cookie cutter style
cement and pebble finger base
bottle cap (actually the neck of the bottle)
cement cone w/ actual cap embedded

Naesco,

They looked to be farmed. They did not look like typical smash and glue frags. They have a robust, rounded, symetrical shape (not twiggy) and have good growth on the base rock.

Lee,

Are the bases artificial? Check the bottoms, can you see any rust patterns or a spot where it appears a section has been broken off (the finger portion that holds them in place)? Does the rock kinda look like larger pebbles and cement?

Thanks Lee

Wouldn't it be nice if all coral was farmed!

Wouldn't it be nice if Wayne knew what he was talking about before he hit the "submit" button??
