Hooray. I love Wal Mart.

Every time I spend a dollar there, an angel gets its wings. Plus, I hate the local people in my area who need real jobs that pay. This is my favorite reason to shopy Wal Mart.

You locals should rollover so it doesn't hurt.

The employment that Walmart provides is in China where they make the products re-created from inventions 'stolen' from American inventors...after their short contracts run out or after small changes are made to hide the original design...
Replacing American workers who enjoy human rights and all with poor Chinese sweatshop labor has made Walmart what it is today.

But you know this already as you're interested in the big picture, right?

You mean we buy cheap blue tangs and green chromis from Bali and disdain the "homegrown" American ones?
And if yellow tangs were from Bali...they'd cost a fortune to land here....especially at 4.00 plus a kilo frieght.

Wild marinelife ... endemic to far flung regions is not a labor choice so much as a species diversity choice. Totally different in the example of Walmart labor policy and outsourcing of product production to a cheaper factory.

You think American workers for WalMart enjoy human rights? That's laughable at best. Can't unionize, paid minimum wage, locked into the store after hours, women get paid significantly less than men.... etc.
