Jaime, I have known Steve Robinson since 1985. Yes, he can be a problem sometimes (and the truth can hurt). But, he has done more than you ever did or will do. Race, when you come up with solutions for the Philippines or Indonesia, let us know. Until then both of you should desist from throwing insults at Steve. I was happy to see the dialogue last weekend. It looked like the trade might actually do something constructive.

Lets see some positive concrete actions that can improve the marine aquarium trade.

I have no dislike for Steve as a person . It is his agenda and his personal attacks on the whole hobby that I disdain . He is wrong in his assumptions and those of us enjoying this great hobby are not criminals . I am tired of hearing of Steve's vacations in the islands. He has less than a stellar record of handling finances and has the audacity to incriminate others . He makes the hobby ugly for all of us.
I could care less if runs around the islands wearing nothing but his nets . He is not the answer and never will be.

We can all also agree there needs to be more constructive, useful comments and actions taken for the betterment of our hobby, the industry, and this forum .... so let's all please try to do as we ask of others. Nearly all the recent posts contribute nothing of substance.

I have no solutions for the Philippines but I will support any organization that shows promise. There are others more qualified than me when it comes to foreign soil . I will help further the hobby on the homeland and yes I realize that the two cannot be totally separated . I have stated before that if we all would focus on what we do best, the hobby would be better off . It is pointless to keep blaming etail or retail or whatever for the problems. Any concerns that exist are industry wide . The issues were not created by the method of fish distribution once they reached the U.S.

That kind of thinking lacks intellect .

It is not a matter of who has done more. I put hundreds of hours
working as a volunteer (without pay) helping to find solutions to the complex problem in the Philippines.

I do not know the man. He doesn't know me either. I do not like his attacks and insults to other people including myself. Many people, who could contribute in a positive way, have been hurt and prefer to stay away from this forum. It is a shame, considering that is because of an individual. Nothing will be accomplished if people do not respect each other. Very sad!

I do think that through the "shock and awe' some good has come about. Let me explain.

There is discussion now about a new AMDA . StevenPro has some ideas here.

Steve R. has a plan for the Les that he is going to outline.

There may be a fear reduction by those who want to post without a fear of retribution from Steve R.. I will guard him.

Mitch has to decide which side of the fence he is on or if he is a post sitter . Anything is fine with me.

Jenn will offer some pointed questions for Kevin and me .( Jenn, please do not write a book.)
