Let me say this once and for all to understand.

Cyanide has never been used in Haiti. The government would never stand for it. It is not produced in Haiti so importation , movement ,and purchase in this country would be impossible. Shame on anyone trying to cast aspersions on the poor people in Haiti and take away their "rice bowl".
Anyone hearing that it is used in Haiti please contact me with the name of the person spreading this lie so I and the exporters in Haiti can take action.

There are multiple exporters of marine ornamentals in Haiti.

There are multiple importers of marine ornamentals from Haiti in South Florida.

The Haitian market is not a monopoly as some would have you think. If the facts are different then please post proof of the exclusive nature of the Haitian market.

I listed cyanide as being used in Haiti in a paper that I wrote in 1986. I will check the paper to see where I got the information.

Delete all the files!

I find it telling that you never had a problem with things being deleted in the past when it happened to people you disagreed with.

You know full well it has nothing to do with what you say, but how you say it. We have discussed this in person many times. You told me you know what you are doing and that you want to 'stir things up' with your writing style. I told you I didn't think you were doing anyone a service with such style, but you choose to continue. Now, the direction of this particular forum has changed, and that style is no longer welcome. However, your input is indeed welcome. If, however, you don't want to post respecting the UAA, I understand, and if that is the case I would be happy to assist you in setting up your on discussion forum not affiliated with RDO where you can post however you please.

Thanks for your understanding.

Unconfirmed reports being recycled again and again and used as substitutes for real data.....is the single biggest issue in this industry.

And its now taboo to talk about it on this forum?

Not at all. The issue is usually not the information, its how that information is conveyed.

Well lets see there is Borno, Jean Bernard, Ronnie Joseph, Charles, and Asencino. Charles you can forget about as he does not even own boats. Ronnie packs off the beach and Asencino(sic) only sells one guy in the Keys. Borno? He is about 20 years behind everyone but the oldest dateing to the 1970's. And oh yes I have been selling them Quin for the last 25 years so I know what they use. They all use Quin and its a crutch. They really don't need to use it. Only for swissguards and candy bass. Oh yes I have a rock lic in Haiti (the only one) So I am the only one to get ricordea. So lets see I am the only one with Caribbean live rock. The only one that is allowed to have large chunks of rock with ricordea on them in my warehouse. Ask around , who sells the most caribbean on 104 st in LA? Big Bob
The Dominican Divers use no drugs it never got started. There are 3 license in use in the Dominican Rep. I have 2 and my wife's cousin has one. So I think I have a lock on that.

Thats why in the past when steve R asked for Caribbean from me I was carefull to send only Dominican fish and to others who want them. Oh yes same price for fish net or quin

Gresham,
But the integrity to admit it was more laudable then anything I've seen in years.
"wether convenient or not ".
No one admits to a cyanide trade....including signers and joiners of our favorite organizations.
No one admits to juicing in the Keys.....but they have for 30 years...
No one admits to anything and I find that refreshing.

He also points out that Haiti has a dysfunctional mechant class and very sad traditions steeped in the history of Papa Doc and Baby Doc Devalier...two monsterous dictators that ruined that culture.
These traditions die hard and retard the emergence into the 21st century as we have seen in the Philippines and Indonesia.
Bob...got any used cars to sell?
I believe you.
Steve
