So after eyeing these monster acans from Manhattan Aquariums for a few weeks, I finally pulled the trigger and got a frag tonight. I bought what I thought was 2 heads. Once I took the coral out of the bag and placed it in my tank, I counted a total of 2 HUGE heads and 7 small heads. I noticed on a lot of the frags there were small hidden heads like that. If you like acans, I would definitely take a look at what they have there. When the heads are completely open some had a diameter of ~2 inches! Anyways, here is a photo right after I put it in the tank.

HAHAHAHAHA. Seriously? MA is a few blocks from where I work. It's bad news. When I have a good day, I seem to reward myself with a frag. When I have a bad day, I get a pick-me-up frag. Bad news.

I had same experience at MA. Bot nice acans, thought I had 2 polyps. 3 more were hidden underneath. They have opened up beautifully, but I think they are pretty aggressive. Keep an eye on how nearby corals are doing.
