Got two peps in my 30 and they have been slowly eating away at the aips, and haven't touched my yellow polyps. Saw one shrimp go over and inspect the polyps but moved on without any harm done. So far I would reccommend them.
What are the disadvantages of going the $100 route versus the other site...aside from the labor.
Does using a mercury vapor ballast have any drawbacks?
If you were looking to upgrade lights over a 30 long, would this be a good way to?
I have been adding a bit of tahitian blend every other day to my tank. Should I be adding something different or something in addition to this to help feed this guy?

I have one of these, and have had it for quite some time. It appears to be shrinking in size though. The guy at the LFS sold it to me as a sand sifter, which I now know is utter crap...Is there anything special I should be doing to feed this guy?

I dont think returning it to the pet store is an option at this point in time. I haven't looked at past posts yet but am planning to this evening. But if anyone has some good tips for care of filter feeders I would appreciate it.
