i use one of those car jump starters. the one i have has an AC outlet and 2 DC outlets. i only use 1 DC outlet to connect my mp10 to. this thing saved my tank during 6 days w/o power during sandy. i probably charged it twice during these 6 days.

tank is now in rebuild mode. got sick of the cyano. vacuumed out the sump, took out all the rock and brushed it clean of cyano, and removed any dead SPS :( only coral that survived my lack of husbandry the past 6mo are the zoanthids and the duncans. i'll give it a few weeks, if no signs of...

i recall someone on here that does custom acrylic ATO containers? i did a search but couldnt find anyone so figured i'd post... i currently have a vertex 2.5L dosing container that i use to hold ATO and kalk. i went this route because i don't want to put the container outside the tank cabinet...
