i have a center brace over my 100 gallon glass, no problems with shadows. i use two 250w halides with reef optix reflectors.

do you guys rinse your mysis shrimp before you feed it? i have pe and hikari and both are oily, the pe mysis is very oily. is this bad for the tank?

i used to hear you are suppose to use high pressure flow through carbon but now i hear it is lower flow rate that is better.

you can make some baking soda paste, 2/3 baking soda and 1/3 water, and smear it on the connections. if it leaks co2 it will bubble.

i have some brown snot on my rocks, my phosphate and nitrate are zero. i do water changes every month. it is not a lot but is there something that eats it or should i wait?

i like my aquamedic spacelight. it is 2x250w and 2 t5 actinics. i got it on sale for 750, expensive but very nice quality. it is heavy tho so be careful.

you will need to feed more carefully, no wasted food and maybe feed less. do more water changes, pull out as much algae as you can and it will eventually go away. you need to make sure you are taking out as much nutrient as you are putting in with the food. are you using a skimmer or ro/di...

do they plan to clone them?

i know they are impossible to keep but i find one eating a lot of mysis. can this one live? are they reefsafe?
