Haitian live rock comes in "shelf like pieces"

wow, thanks for the quick responses. I think its Cyanobacteria cause i just cleaned the diatoms off the glass and the pinkish purple stuff came off with it. :( What should I do about it?

are there pinkish purple forms of algae other than coralline algae. I have a pinkish purple algae growing on my rocks and class, is this coralline algae (sorry i have no pics). the reason I'm asking is my tank has only been set up for 5 weeks and one day, is that enough time for coralline...

if i wanna paint the back, should i paint then drill or drill then paint?

Where do you suggest drilling for a 20g high? I read a lot of people drilling the back. Which way do u think is the best? And what size stand tube do u recommend?

Would a 20g high tank be big enough for a 2" Frogfish? Ive been researching them and they have really intrigued me. Im planning on having one with corals in my tank (20g high).
