i went with both. added 2 bags each and mixed them up really well before added my live stock. It gives your tank a way different appearance compared to the average reef aquarium. Also at night, the white sand specs out through the black which gives an awesome effect! good luck

i have the same issue going on for about 3 weeks. I upgraded to a 56g and once i added some epoxy to glue down some corals, forget about it. The remora went out of control. I shut it off until my next water change and still after a 30% water change, the skimmer is still producing a high amount...
