  1. Wrasse with Ich?

In fact, Paletta in "The New Marine Aquarium" discribes Lymphocystis as looking like bits of cauliflower. This sounds like it but there are not photos to confirm. If it is lymphocystis then it is a self containing viral infection that is rarely fatal.
  2. Wrasse with Ich?

I just saw some more pics from the internet. I looks like Ich it is. Stores just closed here so tomorrow I'll buy a new tank. How big should it be? Do I need to cycle it or is it good enough to put in a piece of live rock? I have a large one that I'm not to fond of.

  11. pumps for new tank

May be this is a silly question but I am new to marine tanks. I just bought 2 MJ1200 to go with my 30 gal tank hooked up to a wave maker. The question is do I connect to air hose or leave it without? I have a prism skimmer that should help with O2ing with water. Thanks Bruce
  12. Fresh to Salt

The amount of current depends on what you want to keep, but a very general rule of thumb would be to have 10X the turnover of your tank each hour. So your tank would want 310g/hr turnover. However many tanks go well beyond this. You don't want strong direct currents. Instead you want the...
