I think the return is with the 2 feet + of plumbing. The in rate and out rate has to be even, correct? How do you match them together perfectly? Is there room for error?

40 pounds for a DSB, with the sand sizer ranginf from .5mm to 1.0 mm . That's what I switched to and it is great.

I hate mine on my 20 Gallon reef. I'm switching to a sump based one as soon as I finish my sump. It skims enough for the money you pay, but it leaves the top of the tank untouched (read: oily coating on top of water). I'd recommend getting something nicer for a hang-on if you can afford it...

I have heard everyone suggest the Remora Hang-On Skimmer for a skimmer. What about AquaC's Urchin for sumps? Is it as good as the Remora? I assume it is the same product - just the sump version, but I want to be sure before I order one for a new tank. Thanks, Greg
