It`s a Heteractis crispa. I bought it 12 years ago, I feed her only every 15 days, otherwise she will grow too big.

what dry food did you used?

Do you have any ideia where can I found something about feeding the larvae with dry food?

it is a 100 gal tank, with lots of corals and some fishes: 1 P. hepatus 1 Z. flavescens 2 A. ocellaris 1 P. splendidus(mandarin) 2 P. kaudneri I do not have another tank set up yet, but I plan on doing that Thank you

Do you have any ideia if they eat aiptasia like the Copperband?

Regal angelfish. I wish i could add one to my reef tank.... :(

Hi My 100 gal reef tank is heavily infested with aiptasia.I have tried several methods to erradicate them, so far without sucess( Copperband , kalkwasser, manual erradication....) My favourite fish is forcipiger longirostris. Is it possible it will eat aiptasia like other members of his family...

Hi I have been using the osram powerstar 250 w for nine years, with supplemental actinics, and I have allways acheived a nice coral growth ( sps, lps and soft corals). The only drawback I see with those lights is the yellowish colour they give, and thats the reason I changed to 10000k lights...

There´s not much in Manhattan, the only LFS worth a visit is New world aquarium in 38th st , and even that is nothing special. I would recomend a visit to the NY Aquarium in Coney Island. By far, the best LFS in the area is Country critters, but it is a long ride from Central New York.
