  2. Help! Hospital tank not working!!!?

The addition of a hospital or quaranteen tank is a great step, however, as rayjay noted, the 3 gallon tank is much too small. It is suitable for neon gobies and those small types of fish. The small tank is undoubtly stressing your angel much more. I would first off, go get at least a 10 gallon...
  3. LFS called it a rock anemone??

I have a bunch of these rock anenomes in my tank. I am removing them and will send them to anyone that wants them and wants to pay the shipping. I can send a photo via e-mail if you are interested. My e-mail address is [email protected] Joyce
  4. Question about bulkheads Please :)

I don't know if this answers your question, but my 2" bulkheads use 2" pipe. Joyce
  5. Help! Fish wigging out!

Most likely, you released undesirable toxins from the CC. Get the fish into some new pre-mixed saltwater with good aeration. You could maybe try some Melafix (for its antibiotic properties) or some meth blue (helps carry oxygen), but those are just guesses on my part. They can't hurt type of...
  6. Help! Fish wigging out!

I'm glad that things are looking a bit better. I would do a small water change tonight. Although unmixed salt water can burn the fishes gills, it may be better than the toxic problem that is in the tank. I have added small amounts of salt mix that has only been aerated an hour or so with no ill...
  7. Remora PRO & Maxi Jet 1200

I am using the MaxiJet 1200 on my Remora Pro. I think it pumps 395 gph, which is close enough for me. The Mag 3 may work better, but it is a larger sized pump and would take up more room in the tank. Joyce
  8. frozen food w/o binder

Ocean Nutrition has most of their foods available either with or without the gel binder. It is harder to find it without the binder and sometimes the LFS have to special order it. I haven't bought any for a few months, but it was available without it several months ago. Joyce
  9. Please help rescue this LFS-starved Naso Tang...

How is your tang doing?? Joyce
  10. Can You do this with X10 ??

I have a light fixture with 3 250 watt MH lights. I was planning on plugging the one cord into an X-10 appliance module, until I read this thread. Will this work?? Thanks, Joyce
  11. What is your favorite Scott Michael book?

The 500+ book is really useful when you go shopping for new fish. I love Reef Fish Vol. 1; the section, 50+ pages, on anthias is the best there is. Can't wait for Vols. 2 & 3. You won't go wrong with either one. Kinda depends on what your needs are right now. Joyce
