ok thanks, i start gluing tonight, and hopefully I'll be able to finish and get wet this week. after aquiring parts and building sump over the last year it'll be nice to put some water in this thing
I have a dry fit of my plumbing in place for my new 90 gal aga megaflow setup. I puchased AGA's megaflow kit for the durso.
Do I glue the pieces of the megaflow kit together and do I glue the kit into the bulkheads?
Also after gluing everything, what's the best leak detection methods to...
the other possibility is Seio which put out a similar stlye flow as the tunze at a fraction of the cost. The problems being that Seio cannot be used with a wavemaker and alot of times i read about problems with them starting up after being turned off. I guess you get what you pay for.
i'm not too sure about the top where it says "The latest must-have hedge fund accessory weighs a ton (literally), contains up to ten living creatures, and costs $600 a month - just for upkeep"
really only 10 living creatures, maybe in a cup of live sand!

i also agree. i don't know about your setup, but they usually rate a 1" drain at about 600 gph, so for that return pump you would probably need 2 1" drains
if you don't want to rig up your reef for an escape artist that a jawfish might be a bad idea. IME these guys can jump out of the smallest hole to examine the carpet. I think they would be okay in a smaller tank though, they don't like swim to far away from there burrow.
when storing it should probably have some movement from a powerhead or pump and be kept at the same heat as your main tank with a heater. Also remember when storing that evaporation will still occurr so you need to top off with fresh just as you would your display over time.
i also have these things and they are annoying, like the dewd says, they're growing on snails, cords, rocks, and i think i saw one on my monti cap. the tube is hard and can be broken off the rocks. so what's the best way to get rid of them?
