Are you planning on live rock? If so you may want to consider dropping the bio-wheel out of the filter and just using charcoal when the need arises. I don't have bad bio-wheel experiences to relate but my LFS, which I trust, pulls them from all their eclipse hoods.

My two new Sexy Shrimp have made it past the 24 hr mark. The big one is waving her fanny under the Branching Frogspawn. Maybe she likes the spots. The little guy seems fine but I don't think he's checked out much of the tank yet.

I love critters with an attitude :D I am trying sexy shrimp at 6 weeks but they haven't taken right off like the crabs did. The only shrimp I will definitely avoid are the coral banded as they seem to have a killer instinct as well as an attitude.
