Actualy I'm one of those who just put the corals in. I acclimate almost everything else except corals, LR, & LS with the drip method. But acclimating them won't hurt them and may even be the best way to go.
I believe it's an Alveopora aswell. Goniopora have 24 tenticals and Alveopora have 12 and I can only see 12 on yours. That's a good thing Alveopore are easier to keep than Goniopora.

The hermits, cleaner and peppermints will eat amphipods. The snails will not. To be sure of a continuing population they will need a refugium of other safe place away from the preditors.
I would have to agree with Righty, the shallow under water ocean is not really a quite place. I think most of our creatures are fine and become accustom to the new sounds once acclimated.
