yea, not much head needed, its just a feed pump for a protein skimmer. I desire silenceeee (= any suggestions? My local store told me I could only use the ocean runner 2700 with my aquamedic t1000, any of you know this to be true? If thats the case, will I be able to sleep with the OR?

Hello, I have a aqua medic TF1000 with a RIO 2100. I have come to the understanding that the rio is a piece of junk, for lack of a better term... I have a 55 gal. tank in my Bedroom of all horrible places and cannot sleep to the noise of the RIO. Newer AM protein skimmers now use the ocean...
