  2. MH - Is This Right?

Yes we care a great deal about what the tank looks like, so I'll definitely spend the extra money on the good bulbs when it comes down to it. If the ballast is hidden in the canopy its fine if its ugly...im more interested in its performance in the long term. Again, thanks.

The first bulb is no good? What about the 'aquarium' one for 67$? How do these compare to electric ballasts? Thanks for all the quick replies.

Currently there is a small sponge wedged inbetween the sand and the sump area to keep refugium...
  7. NEWSFLASH: GF/SO can not understand high cost of aquarium

She bought 75$ worth of panties from Victoria's Secret this week; she has her 'hobbies' and I have mine (although we both really enjoy the tank) :)
  8. Sand-Sifting Star experiences

    1. Looks very healthy; always able to view worms and worm tracks in the sand. 2. Star was added before the sand bed life took off, but both have thrived since. 3. Yes, although we rarely see him on the surface anymore. 4. About a month. 5. About a month. 6. 110gal Caveat: I know now we...
