Here are some pictures of my 7.5 gallon mostly SPS / mixed nano cube with 5 gallon sump. It's been up for a year and a half. Enjoy.

Thanks for checking it out.

I've been changing the Phoslock every two months, but sometimes wait longer. Hanna meter usually reads 0, even after 2 months, only rising when there is an invert death.

Awesome tank man.

I see that you're dosing the calc and alk with dosers but you are also dosing magnesium and other supplements. Do you manually dose everything but the calc/alk? Only reason I ask is because you mention that you travel often and if it's manual dosing, do your friends just dump them in casually once a week?

Thanks,

Ron

Magnesium is mixed into the new SW at about 3 tbs / gallon and replaced during every WC.

Other supplements are only added when I am around, mostly by eyeing the color / PE and algae growth. The coral can go quite some time without these additions and Mag can be made up for.

I never have friends dose anything aside from carefully measured food and changing the top off reservoir of pre made RODI if a 5g jug runs out.

I find friends looking in are most handy for checking obvious things like power outages or bad ATO, in which case I can guide them through a temporary patch solution.
