There is a great store down by the Chinatown/Little Italy area where the guy has some unbelievable discus. I don't remember the exact street or name of the place but it's on a corner, maybe someone can come up with something.

The corner store is at Delancey and Mott(I think) and when they have stock, they have great but not always have stock of discus. Whenever, they import discus, usually is in HUGE quantity and HUGE variety

Wingo, that's not the store that I'm talking about. This store that I'm talking about has just Fresh water, African Chilids and Gold Fish, no saltwater.

The one you mention is on Delancey and yes they do carry some nice Discus, though not as good as the place I mention.

It's at the corner of bloom and mott. They have some real nice discus but not cheap.

There is a guy in Brooklyn that breeds discus and sells them... do a search for Mark Discus.

Excuse me, I made a mistake in stating the one of the street name-we are talking about the same store. It's notDelancey but Bloom Street.


The Delancey Street one is not at the corner and the name of the one on Delancey Street is called Pacific and they probably the best fresh water plants. Int he old days they are good at discus but no more. Their saltwater go downhill as well.

thanks everyone for the comment.. i did purchase couples of discus from Mark's in brooklyn.. i will check thoes Chintown store out this weekend.. but i really prefer forum members selling it... LFS is too pricey and not as healthy

You try the brooklyn aquarium auctions? They normally have discus.
