What brand of brake pads??

I need to replace the brake pads on my SUV. I haven't done work to vehicles in ages. I know how to change the pads, it is quite easy.

But does anyone have an opinion for the best brand/type to get. They are for a 2007 Trailblazer

I never buy non OME brake pads because the always make that annoying squeaking sound.

I agree with the above. OEM brakes always last longer on my vehicles.

Ceramic brake pads offer great stopping power but can be a bit dusty on your rims but they do last a long time and that's what they use on Indy cars I believe!!!!

I LOOOOOOVE my Duralast pads..........They let my WHOOOOOOOLE neighborhood know I'm coming home. LOL (Don't get Duralast) I did in a pinch and never will again....OEM all the way worth every extra scheckles.

i like ceramic after market pads. some oem ones have metal that make that annoying sound.

I always go with the ceramic my self .. But I do change the rotors to slotted and cross drill as well.

Oem best to buy and last longer don't go cheap on pads you will cry when the squeek and fade in a. Yr

Indy cars are using Brembo carbon pads this season.

OEM doesn't always mean better and price isn't always an indicator of quality. If you aren't towing or have a heavy foot you don't really need anything crazy. I would just browse a few car parts sites and check the ratings.

That's the one thing I hate about my other hobby. It causes my Jeep to go through pads like a fat kid trhough a bag of Chips Ahoy!
