blog posting from Robert Bowling, the director of communications/community manager for Infinity Ward, tells us, "We’re also really excited that the Map Pack passed Sony Europe certification and will be propped on the PlayStation Network on May 1."

That's not all. He also confirms that a Double XP Weekend (which allows players to double the experience points they grab during online play) and play with devs event are on the way, stating, "For our European fans, we will have a Double XP weekend beginning at 12:01 AM GMT on Friday, May 2 and concluding at 11:59 PM GMT on Sunday, May 4. You will also get a chance to play the new maps against the IW team on Friday, May 2 from 7 PM GMT to 10 PM GMT."

American gamers will get the maps a bit earlier than us - April 24th. Their Double XP Weekend will kick off shortly afterwards on April 27th.
