what a knockout!!!! he had his right hand loaded the entire fight looking for his shot and it never came. rashaad is too fast for him. i was rooting for rashaad but he definitely surprised me with that knockout, i didn't know he had that much power.
at one point, when they showed the replay from behind lidell, i was a bit scared for him. watching his neck move the way it did and just looking at how chuck fell i thought he may have suffered spinal injury. i was glad to see him walk out.

next fight---- anderson silva & rashaad @205lbs

i think that fight would be better than a forrest or rampage matchup.

on another note, tell me this, how did brock lesnar manage to get a shot at the heavyweight title with one win and one loss under his belt?? it'll be a hard fight for randy and he might lose (looks a little on the skinny side for a fight against a 265 pounder in two months). i say let lesnar fight kongo, so kongo can get his a$$ kicked and stfu and allow lesnar to build some wins before a title shot.

Kongo, Gonzaga, sylvia then maybe a title shot...after getting through mir if he can.

Good for Rashad. I like Liddell but I think he's getting a little old to be hanging with the younger fighters. Did anyone else notice that Rashad wasn't even looking when he hit Liddell? His face was looking at the mat so he had some luck on his side that he landed that punch. I never realized he had that much power. That was an amazing knockout.

The heavyweight division is the weakest division in the UFC. They need to spice it up. Brock vs Couture is a good way to do that.

Lots of good light heavyweight fight to make. I am not sure why Machida isn't getting a title shot. I dont' see anybody beating him. How does Evans get ahead of Machida. Evans fights a draw with Ortiz while machida easily beat Ortiz. The title is going to go to Machida sooner or later.

I personally thought Kim won the fight. The first round easily belong to Kim with numerous submission attempt and he got on Brown back.

The second round belonged to Brown with those knees and being the agressor.

but how does the thrid round belong to Brown? Brown was taken down twice and almost mounted. Then Kim control the last minute or so being on top and cut him with a elbow. What did Brown do in the third round. That makes him being robbed?

I think Joe Rogan has to explain why he felt like that?

I thought Brown deserved the decision. Yes, Kim had his back but he did nothing to take advantage of having his back. He had one choke hold which was Brown broke. Brown was the agressor the entire fight. He dominated the second round so much that Kim didn't deserve 9 points for the round. It should have been 10 - 8 round for Brown.

Machida did not beat Ortiz easily....he ran the whole fight. This is UFC not track and field. Granted Ortiz shud have attack him more but he definelty didnt beat him easily.

Brown was kicking that dudes butt. If u get mounts and do nothing then its worth nothing. This is the reason fighters shud not let the fight go to the judges cause you never know what they gonna decide...

How is Machida running, you dont' necessary have to stand and bang to win a fight. This is Mix martial art not fight club. That is how Machida style is, Tito Ortiz has nothing to counter it and almost getting knock out.
Did Ortiz get one take down? Nope
Did Ortiz land one punch? Nope

He beat him easily other then catching that triangle at the end.

How's Kim not doing anything , so putting on a submission and failling is nothing.
Unfortunely take down and mounts count as something Plus he land the most devasting blow in the fight, the elbow that cut open Brown.

In the 2nd Round Kim didn't do nothing but Brown didn't land any meaningful blown, to give that a 10 -8 round for Brown.

so 29-28 for Kim is correct. It is fair.

You want to talk about running, Rashad Evans ran from Liddell the entire fight and then got trapped and really landed a "lucky punch." Was it really luck.......no but he had no idea where that punch was going. It just so happened to hit Liddell in the chin and Liddell wasn't defending himself.

Brown landed a decent amount of meaningful blows, much more than Kim who seemed to be humping Browns back but not throwing punches for most of the fight.

gimme a break!!! do you have to be making eye contact to knock someone out?? don't try taking anything away from that knockout...these guys are so fast they look at your face (or body) and may or may not take their eyes of off you before the punch lands...make sense?? i guess i have to watch a replay with a stopwatch in hand to see if he ever looked at his target, and if so how long was it before the punch landed....definitely looked like a better punch then the liddel hay makers.

It was a great punch, I am not taking anything away from him or his punch, but what would you be saying if he missed that punch and chuck liddell finished him right there? You'd be saying he should have looked at what he was swinging at.

Evans is a beast, I think he'll beat Griffin. But it'll take more than 1 punch.
