Wait, if your logic that hockey is not a sport because they will strike, then baseball isnt a sport neither is football, the MLB and NFL have striked before. So therefor those arent sports either.

By the way Matt, the NHL has had only three stoppages while MLB has had 8 including the mid-season cancellation of a World Series. If the NHL were to strike it wont be until 2012, the NFL (2009) will probably strike before NHL. MLB is lucky because their agreement expires 2011.

That would be 3 times since its inception. 3
