actually i was there in 94 when they won the cup and was working at city hall when the goalie ( i think it was van) asked me tohold the cup for him when he went on the stage to say thanks to the fans. so i guess i would be. lol

By the way Matt, the NHL has had only three stoppages while MLB has had 8 including the mid-season cancellation of a World Series. If the NHL were to strike it wont be until 2012, the NFL (2009) will probably strike before NHL. MLB is lucky because their agreement expires 2011. NHL is much more saturated in history, hockey history can go as far back as 1366 even further to Egyptian times. Baseball, late 1700's. As well as boasting more athletes from around the globe. And lets not forget how different each stadium is, certain stadiums can make a mendoza line hitter look like Sosa. Yankee ownership constructed a stadium to work with Babe Ruth. So where is the "sport" and athleticism when a stadium is built around you. Coors Field, well we all know about that place when it opened. Since the inception of a humidor, home runs have been way down, thus bringing standard hitters back to earth. Sorry, I gotta pick on the hockey comment. I couldnt help it anymore.
