People are just heartless!

They spam our mail box, emails, our phones, even our cel phones, and now I just found out they even spam my web site rating section! That's ridiculous.

I think a law treating spammers as hackers and put them to jail.

In my gallery web site where I post pictures for people to view and comment on them, advertisers use that section and post links of porn sites, insurance link, blah blah blah. Now, I have to find out how to erase those spam in a batch style. The posting people know that they are destroying my site or changing the intent of my site and yet they still do this immoral thing. So these people are heartless and I think this is a crime may be I should call it a sin too.

One reason for FBI to catch hackkers is that these hackers are destroying other people's property including informations. These spammers are doing just that.

I don't know if you know this, but here is one tool to track down spammers http://www.stopforumspam.com/
You can either use the user name, the e-mail domain, or the e-mail user name or the ip number. You just place it in the search field and do the search.
Try this one kjgyfhgc .... "gunned down" this morning...

theres many other tools...but this one is simple and very helpful.

They used bots to register and then auto spam the comments.
I have deleted 2000+ comments that are spam with just 2 months. I cannot even see the real comments by my viewers.

sorry to hear this people are %$%# the sooner we get it the less we expect or depend on them ! it's a creul world out there and for them to prey on your lively hood is borderline criminal . there should be a way to get back but it wastes your valueble time and effort noy to say that its disruptive ! i hope you get retribution x10000 !

Wingo just PM josh see the info he can give you about some of the stuff used here that you might be able to apply to your site. Spam Text messages are a pain in the arse I don't know how to get rid of those. I get them all the time.

If their bots are able to register an account and post freely, you need to add a challenge and response mechanism to your forum registration.
