I've thought of trying them before but haven't because I prefer to keep animals that aren't too demanding in terms of needing daily care, due to my schedule, but the other day we were at the mall and there was a corner set up for some outfit that breeds them ( they seem to be pretty legite based on some research ). They had a good crowd going so we stopped to take a look and boy were they cute. My wife fell in love ( they were letting people handle them ) and so I started doing research. They seem to be somewhere between a dog and a hampster in terms of their needs and temperament. I was wondering if anyone here keeps or kept them and what your experience is/was like.

They are really cute and very cool, but from what I have heard they are loud and need attention. Since they are mostly nocturnal their chirping can keep you up at night.

I would still get one if I wasn't in an apartment. I love the fact that they eat bananas, grapes, honeydew and fruit flavored yogurt.
