Our Daughter is born!!!

Hey All,

Just wanted to share the most happy recent news! My wife Migdalia, some of you know her as Maggy, she gave birth Friday February 20, 2009 at 8:24AM, to our Beautiful daughter Zoe Mari Acevedo , she weight in 6 lbs 10oz, 18 1/2" long and healthy.

Oh, not to forget she got a lot of hair...LOL They are both doing well, mama is very happy with her first baby and she is bonding.

Congrats to you and Maggy. It seems like only yesterday that my daughter was born - she will be 21 in August and is a Junior at Lehigh. Enjoy every minute - they grow up so fast.

Thank you, Luis, Eric, Dean, JP, Brendan and the rest here for your kind words! Shortly, I will be leaving to the hospital to stay over with Maggy and my Zoe until Monday hoping they will both be discharge from the hospital. Maggy, current blood count is low after the C-section. The normal blood count should be 12, and it was under 6. They were planning to give her blood for the blood lost, but they notice she was strong and she insisted she was fine only with pain. She is now over 6 and climbing, she a a tough cookie from Bushwick...LOL I pray that she will get better soon!


This new child, my princess that came into our life is a blessing! Who would have thought, nearly 52, thou I look 30ish to most, 2 married daughters as oldest 31 and made me a grandpa! Now starting all over again with the diapers, but overall I'm happy, specially for my wife at 39 and first child this is the greatest gift for her and she is the happiest woman alive! Great woman, a wife , best friend and will be a great mother to our daughter.

Mike (Stearn), I got you beat! I have now 3 daughters, 1 son & grandchild...LOL Anyway thank you.
