Just spent the day out on the water.. went on Super Speedy Express out of Captree for a full day 7a-4p for SeaBass this past Saturday. Talk about a ton of fish brought on board. Cod, Seabass, Porgy, Flatties, Ling.. someone even reeled up a Lobster, but she went back eggs and all. It was a great trip!

Would be cool to set up an MR trip. Who's up for organizing such a thing? I know I don't have the gumption to do so.. but I'd be more than happy to attend :)

We made a promise to the little man that we'll do at least one boat trip a month, with plenty of as usual dock fishing. He adores it, which is awesome because it's a family affair around here when it comes to fish and reefkeeping. :inlove:

I can set up something if there is enough interest. I fish at least once a week on the Fish Finder out of captree. What is everyone interested in catching. It can ether be a day fluke trip (10am-3pm), afternoon bluefish, weakfish and striper trip (5pm-9pm) Or a striper trip 10pm-2am). If there is enough interest in doing something i will set up the trip. Lets ball park it to be the end of july.

Problem with fluke fishing these days is that the reg size is so large, that you're likely to go home empty handed but if you do catch a fish, its your only one, so what do you do the rest of the trip? Are the boats doing mixed bag trips? I like the striper trip mainly because the hours work for me. Keep me in the loop if you plan something.
