Well, yes there are politicians who are corrupt and even criminal regardless of party affiliation. As there are with every profession. Granted when criminal acts and/ or when corruption is uncovered, far more attention is paid, then to the upstanding politicos. As that's how it should be.
Chief, I don't at all blame you for feeling this way. However, I think it's counter productive. It is this type of sentiment that helps these dishonest representatives be put into and kept in power. Now, I'm not saying that you Chief, are not paying attention. It's just that those types of generalities encourage people to turn off politically. As difficult as it may be to do, we can't assume that "all" are criminal and corrupt. The more turned off we are and the less attention we pay to the political discourse, the more these types of hacks flourish. We as a society need observe the process more closely. In doing so we can run some these bums out before situations get to the point of becoming hilarious scandals.
So of course when corruption, criminal acts, and unfair legislation (Legalized organized criminals) happen, we need to bring them to light of day. At the same time though, we should recognize those who despite the intense spotlight still manage to do the right thing and make their arguments in good faith.
Sorry, if I went off the deep end a little. I just regret having not started to pay closer attention earlier on.
