I just need advice/opinion on an issue. I have steam radiators and two of them (the two farthest from the boiler, one on each floor of a two family house) will not heat/warm up. I replaced the air vents and that did not fix the problem. I will need to call my local PSEG but i need some opinions first before the repairman comes just so i have an idea on what to expect. Thanks a lot.

try replaceing the air vent again sometimes the water in ur system carry rust and paticles that block the those air vent and if the radiator dont breath then it does not allow the steam to come up or the pipe that feed the radiator is back pitch that cold also stop the radiator fuctioning properly water build up and block the steam from coming up these are just few idea of the top of my head

look at the sight glass and see what the water level is at ,also is the water clean or dirty, see if the water jumps up and down when the boiler goes on, there should be a arrow on the water cut off the the water level should be at,
