Larissa it was written up with 2 of my attorneys. It is not horrible as I have the monetary side well in my favor. And yes if I were to take any classes or courses it voids my contract. Trust me I have thought about this with my GF and for me to void my contract and go back to school would not beworth losing what I have(house Etc.) I would not be able to keep these things as school doesn't pay you at all and there is no guarentee as to the money I would make after school

OK, gotcha. I'd be going nuts too, I must say. Unless I had the money to travel the world 24/7, I don't think I could retire, especially under those terms, and I'm 9 years older than you are. It's ridiculous that you can't even take hobby classes.

Timber its not exactly that but follows those guidelines. Something a little different. And not into buying new cars lol, mine is fine. I do read but you can't read all day long it as it will lose its appeal. And the LFS has crossed my mind but what would they say if I front money for a store and Im there all the time lol. I did start a small frag tank, but since I have a new tank coming im also rethinking what I wanna do now exactly.

What about something like a pilot's license? If you go after a private pilot license, you can't possibly get a job with it. You would need to get a commercial cert to do anything in the field, so there's no way it could be a step towards a job.

The way it sounds like his contract reads, he can't even take dancing lessons for his wedding if/when he wants to get married!

Well you're allowed to invest correct? Invest all day. I'm sure there are fifty weird commodities that you can find to learn about and buy and trade. Personal investment...its not a job.

I actually do have personal investments but they they have to be limited. Hhaha and the flying I don't know about not something that sparks interest in me.

it simply isn't possible for a 30 year old man to be retired and not permitted to have some sort of gainful employment or education.

Disability means you can't continue to do the work you did before, not ALL work.

If it was some sort of pension based contract it still can't prevent you from education and eventual gainful employment. Contracts are not absolute.

Well Josh it is not 100% cut and dry and I can not put all the info out there, but the monetary situation favors me like this. So im pretty much left up to hobbies and by Contract it was written as I would not need employement again. long story and a lot more to it than I can tell. But im actually looking for things to do not a job anyways.

Well, you've shot down a bunch of suggestions, so figure out what you enjoy and take up a new hobby. Curling seems like it's gaining in popularity.

Well most of the suggestions were to open a LFS or go to school and take classes. Which I can not do. But these were mainly the suggestions i got. Now you see what I have been going through when there are stipulations involved.

You also got suggestions to volunteer, join the Sierra Club, check out meetup.com, travel... even in NJ there are only so many things to do.

Honestly, even if the money was wonderful, I wouldn't have taken a deal like you apparently got. Now you see why.
