Deep, adjusting just a tiny bit with photoshop can make a world of difference - this was adjusted with sharpness and contrast with a splash of brightness - what a difference.

Having a great photo to start with is the key - keep up the good work.

Jim, my personal opinion is that you clicked it just too many times. Although it pops out, if you notice the crabs leg it starts to get distorted. One has to be careful when using these photoshop filters. All it takes is a little bit to also ruin the picture.

That is not to take away from your advice. I totally agree that some editing will do wonders to the pics.

By any chance, did you resize when you saved, that would explain part of the pixelation.
