can't find wrasse

hello i just picked up a pencil wrasse last night i saw it until the lights went out but cant seem to find him at all could he be in the sand bed thanks

+1 usually takes a few days- a few weeks before you see him

+1 I've had wrasses hide for a week before ever seeing them come out.. Give it a few days

one of my wrasses lasted a week without any flow and no heat threw sandy ..when i started it up again he popped out like nothing happened lol

i had a pencil wrasse that i didnt see for weeks. also, found my mystery wrasse in one of the overflows last week. hope your tank has a lid, they're good jumpers.

I had a 6 line for a few years util he jumped out.Now I make sure I cover my tank

that wrasse is a funny one they true jumpers as a mater of fact that the only fish that jump out my tank and i have alot of fish check around the tank real good to make sure that it carpet surfing
