getting pods from sump to main tank?

On my Mag drive 3 the filter on the pump had pretty wide pores, pods are only few microns long, the "filter" that came with the mag 3 was definately not stoping any pods going through. Dont know what you have but if you got a mag 3 i wouldnt even worry about the filter.

Ive seen diced and chopped pods come out my return pump on my 75. But I think they take the trip with no harm done.

I was very surprised to find a large pod population in a fluval that I had on a 55 gallon tank. This was my first attempt at FOWLR 12 years ago. I freaked out and rinsed them all under hot water. lolololol.
