Why are polyps always categorised as coral and not anemones in online stores etc?

Anemone are invertebrates. Polyps are correctly classified as coral.

I have seen some websites incorrectly as it turns out describe polyps as anemones instead of "anemone like"

IMO this can be easily incorrectly identified as many people think some rock anemones are "polyps" - especially Mojanos - the colorful ones look very much like Zooanthinds.

Websites classify by color because a Gorilla Nipple or an Armor of God zoanthid is more marketable than a pink palythoa will ever be. Which in turn leads to a lot of confusion afterwards as people begin to argue over slight color variants with completely different names from 2 different sites.
