a trio of pep shrimp will clean your tank. I noticed in the beginning was that they will not touch very healthy aptasias. What I did was to take a rigid airline tubing and stabbed all the big aptasias, this made them all look very stressed out. After doing that a few times, I started to notice there are far less of them. Then once all the peps developed a taste for the anemone, they started to eat any they can find.

Good luck.

My tank is full of aiptasia, but the berghia I introduced two weeks ago are slowly making progress. Each morning I find strings from the rocks where the aiptasia used to be. One morning I found an aiptasia swinging with the water current, and then broke loose. I netted it and tossed it.

The berghia are working. I never see them, but they are killing the aiptasia. Just wait. It will be worth it.
I?m glad to see that the nudes are starting to get rid of the AP/ The original bunch we put into my tank is still on the same rock. I?m a little worried that they will starve due to lack of food. I have put the coral I fraged for you on the same rock hoping that some of those nudes transport on. I have a feeling that all those babies we saw in the bag have become food for the crustaceans. I see a lot of activity on that particular rock w/ the larger crustaceans.

Sorry about jumping on your thread but same problem

How long after joe's juice should I keep the circulation off?
and this is going to be my solution hope it works!!
Ok first joe's juice doesn't always resolve the problem but I am trying it today, not two minutes after using, they are gone, but i read that they are like feather dusters and can retract like that. If in two weeks it is back the rock will be quarantined and peppermint shrimp, Copperband butterfly introduced and I will try to acclimate the berghia properly but I am still hesitant about the berghia, everywhere you read these guys multiply fast.
