Hi, there. It seems that a lot of people say that mushrooms split like crazy, and before long, you'll be bombarded with mushroom coral. I have some hairy mushrooms, and some brown-ish colored ones that just have not split. When the lights are on, they'll expand like crazy, though. They are in a 25 gallon with 2 X 65 PC lights. Once a week, I add in trace elements, iron, iodine, calcium, zooplex, strontium, coral-vite ... and although polyps have split, the mushrooms haven't. What could be the issue here? There is coralline growth (the pink stuff, right?) all along the glasa and live rock.
