I would try and see if there is anyone near you that can give you some water. If not, and the corals aren't looking good, I would use regular water. If the corals don't look that bad I would do a small water change and then do more as you can make or get water.

Also make sure you run poly pads and carbon, as that will help a lot.

Do as much of a water change and run as much carbon as possible. I knew someone who accidentally sprayed a little windex in the tank while cleaning the glass and lost 75% of his corals and all his fish. Would hate to see that happen to another person...

I hope it was distilled water. Poland Springs Natural Spring Water still has 33-57 mg/l TDS which is more than what comes from my tap. :dead1:

I used Poland Spring for awhile in one of my tanks, and it eventually caused problems, but it's better than Lysol. Keep the RO pumping and do as many water changes as you can over the next few days. Your system should recover, although the water may cause a bit of an algae bloom.

Keep us posted, and if you're coming out for anything let me know and I can put on some water for you.

BTW... what did the woman at the supermarket say when you put 30 gallons of water on her register? :Yikes:

One of the bottled water companies actually makes RO water now I don't remember which company it is but it has a red cap on it. It's also not available everywhere so you might have to look for it (pretty sure Waldbaums carries it).
